'RENT' the Musical - this Girl's Opinion

'RENT' has been playing at the Lower Ossington Theatre, in Toronto, since the beginning of March. It was supposed to close at the end of April, but has been extended into June. On Saturday night I attended the show, and could totally understand why it's run was held over.

The cast is superb. The vocals are strong, and, emotional, the characters taking us deeply into their lives as they tell their stories. Beautifully entertaining, we laughed with them, and cried with them. They even cried real tears, which I found, very powerful.

Would love to dance with them too! The dance numbers use the whole set and stage, making for exciting movement, and action. The romantic numbers make you want to cuddle, and the, spicy numbers are..well, just that...nice and spicy!
