Newly Opened Sake Central Is What Sake Lovers Have All Been Waiting For

SAKE: The History, Stories and Craft of Japan's Artisanal Breweries is a book co-written by @elliotjfaber and Hayato Hishinuma, with imagery by travel photographer @jason_lang. For an in-depth look at 75 of Japan's breweries and distilleries

Sake Central is an educational and multifunctional retail space. The venue is fitted out with special non-UV emitting LED lights to protect the integrity and quality of each sake bottle. In addition to an extensive sake catalog, we also have special Japanese spirits, goods, and ceramics available.

Even more so than wine, sake can be served at an array of temperatures. Storage is also paramount. Our space uses special @subzeroandwolf refrigerators that control the temperature for unpasteurized (nama) bottles. The entire space is temperature controlled throughout the shop to protect even the twice pasteurized sake meant to withstand more exposure to the elements.
